Shpagin / Gaynor was a retired U.S. Army Signal Officer and long-time flare gun and signal pistol collector / Included in this purchase is one of his personally owned Russian signal pistols that is publicized in his book - The model (M1944) very scarce / Additionally you will receive the original holster and “empty” flare canisters for (display only) with his hand written research slip and an extremely hard to find copy of his book which offers countless information on not just Russian pistols but specimens from other countries detailing their rich history and their identifying makers and markings
