U.S.N. PILOT'S MK3C LIFE PRESERVER, FLARES, WHISTLE, BELT & DYE SWITLIK PARACHUTE CO. VIETNAM WAR ERA
These were worn by the fighter and attack pilots in the early years of the Vietnam War (this one is dated 1961 and was packed in 1963). It is designed to lace onto the torso harness of the pilot with a strap. This MK3C was made by Switlik Parachute company and dated April 1961. All contents included in the packed belt are included… belt, life preserver, two flares (both night & day Mark 13 Model O), whistle, and two dye packs (Everything shown in the pictures)
