Discovered in an old barn near the 1812 battle site on LAKEERIE. Traditionally "Boarding" Pikes are very long, often over eight foot in length, and meant to REPEL boarders as they attempted to come over the rail of a vessel.
This iron pike head is 9.25” long with four flat sides. There are two holes made for mounting this piece to a wooden Pole. This is a heavy cast piece. Bottom hole is 7/8 inches in size.
