Circa 1840's / Pre-Civil War Era (possible civil war use)
Manufactured by Peter Rose of 130 William St. New York. Rose manufactured medical tools from 1822 to 1845. Knives are maker marked (Saw is unmarked) Missing a couple tools and torniquet. All medical tools are sturdy and sharp.
Saw - 13 3/4 Inches overall / 10 3/4 Inch blade (no maker-mark)
Box - 14 7/8 x 8 7/8 x 2 3/8 Inches / The box has two cracks, and the top and bottom pieces of wood are slightly ajar. The right corner of the inner top lining is also loose.
